Shipping & packaging optimization
A leading supplier of farm equipment with an emphasis on sustainability was in need of a partner to help increase efficiency and optimize their current packaging and shipping. They engaged BoldtSmith to help achieve the following objectives:
BoldtSmith provided the client with a number of concepts and options designed to increase shipment quantities and effectively protect their equipment during shipment. Samples were then produced to conduct onsite fit and test trials, allowing for customizations and enhancements to the final packaging designs.
Shipment testing was also conducted, as well as financial analysis of the improved solutions, in order to provide Delaval with concrete data to support their final decision.
Following a final presentation outlining the key findings and results, BoldtSmith provided Delaval with work instructions for an enhancing loading and unloading process.
Working with BoldtSmith, the client was able to achieve increased shipping optimization which improved their overall shipping processes for ergonomic loading and unloading.
